Here i have made a wee example of dynamically changing music in Construct 3.

This would be great if you have a game where you want to seemlessly change the intensity of the music during different events, for instance going from roaming to being chased. You want the music more intense for a chase.

Please note: This can be easily expanded to include more than 3 music files, but you HAVE TO make sure the length of the audio files are the same as eachother, otherwise it will go out of sync too much after the loop resets!


Version 2 update: Made it so when the shortest music file finishes its loop, it resets all other music playing, therefore it doesn't matter if the length of the songs aren't the same. Also, I added a basic particle visualizer. Its not perfect but its something.


I am sure this will be useful to most, as it is very easy to understand and requires very little programming logic.


The music is just something I quickly whipped up for this example, so you are welcome to use it for what ever you like!
